LogicMark is a Virginia based company that specializes in the design and manufacture of
innovative Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS).   We are the pioneer of two-way
voice pendants for the PERS industry.

What is special about LifeSentry?
LifeSentry allows two-way voice communication to a central station of your choice.  The pendant
is the world’s smallest two-way voice communicator for the PERS industry.

What communication technology is used?
LifeSentry uses DECT technology at 1.9 Ghz.  This allows for super clear duplex voice
communication to the central station of  your choice.

Do you have to be near the base station for someone to hear you?
No! Because LifeSentry has the speaker phone right in the pendant – you can be anywhere in
and around your home.  In fact, you can cover up to a 10,000 sq ft home with the product and
still have enough range to go another 100 feet into the yard.

Can I test the range?
Yes.  Simply use the test button on the back of LifeSentry. Hold the button in for 5 seconds and
you will hear a system check.  If it says “All systems are OK”, then you are within range of the
base unit.  You can walk around your home and test this feature at any location to see if it will
work from there.

Is LifeSentry legal to use?
Yes! The LifeSentry is completely legal to use in all 50 states and Canada.

Does LifeSentry use a battery?
Yes, the LifeSentry pendant uses a special rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.  There are 2
batteries included.  One is in the pendant being used, while the other is charging in the base
charging station. The battery standby time is 3-4 months and it can be tested at any time by
pushing the test button on the pendant.  When the battery test shows that the battery is low, you
simply replace the battery with the second battery that is charging in the base unit.  Just swap
the two batteries around every few months.

How can I deal with power outages?
The LifeSentry comes with 4 rechargeable batteries that are installed in the base unit.  These
batteries are constantly being charged while the base is plugged in the wall outlet.  When the
power fails, the FreedomAlert automatically switches over to these rechargeable batteries which
will provide over 24 hours of back-up protection.   There is no maintenance needed for these
backup batteries.

How many pendants can be learned to one base unit?
You can learn 4 pendants to one base unit.  Actually, you can learn any combination of up to 4
pendants and “Emergency Wall Communicators” (see accessories) into this system.

What are some of the Dealer Options that can be programmed into this system?
•The option to program a unique dealer lock-out code.
•The option to program Periodic Check-ins.  In other words, the system can be set to check-in
with the   central station once a day, once a week or once a month.
•Up to 2 central station numbers and one 4 digit ID code can be programmed.
•“Line Seizure” can be set-up with the system.
•The dealer has the option to remotely program or reprogram any contact numbers, codes or
options – right over the phone from any touch-tone keypad.

Is the Pendant supervised?
Yes - the pendant wakes up a few times each day to let the base unit know that it is alive and
well. If the pendant battery is very low or the pendant has not been seen in 48 hours - the
central station is notified.

How do you end an emergency call?
There are 3 ways to end the call:

1.Pushing the gray System Test button on the back of the pendant ends the call, hangs up and
resets.
2.The LifeSentry should detect the other person has hung up and will automatically hang up in
20 to 30 seconds and reset.
3.The central station can terminate the call by pressing “9” on their end.

How do I know the programming is successful?
First – note that there are voice prompts for all the programming options.  As you program, you
are receiving verbal confirmation of the programming.  And, when complete – you can make a
call to the central station to test out the unit.

Is LifeSentry water resistant?
Yes, the LifeSentry can be used in the shower.  The pendant meets the industry standard IPX-5
test for water-resistance.

What is the warranty on LifeSentry?
